Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, confirmed that the UAE is actively supporting the tourism sector through daily engagement, noting that a tourism support package will soon address tourism issues and key challenges affecting businesses across the sector.

Dubai Economic Support Package Provides Immediate Relief
To provide immediate relief, Dubai introduced a Dh1 billion economic support package allowing hotels and businesses to defer government fees for three months starting April 1, including 100 percent of sales fees on rooms, food, and beverages, as well as the Tourism Dirham, helping ease liquidity pressure across the tourism sector.

The scope of the tourism support package has been expanded to include hotel apartments and holiday homes, offering broader relief and supporting operational continuity across the UAE tourism sector during a challenging period.
