Goods trade dominated commercial activity, reaching approximately Dhs4.9 trillion, while services trade achieved a significant milestone by exceeding Dhs1 trillion for the first time, underlining the success of the country's economic diversification strategy.
Export volumes comprised more than half of total goods trade, further cementing the UAE's strategic position within global supply chains. The Emirates recorded a trade surplus of Dhs584 billion in 2025, climbing from Dhs492 billion the previous year, demonstrating robust external demand and highly competitive export performance.
